Multiple Licence Features and Benefits

Who should buy a multiple licence?

These have been specifically created with academic institutes and commercial training organisations in mind. The multiple licences allow an unlimited number of students within your organisation which makes them extremely cost effective.

What are the benefits?

Being totally online allows the training packages to be easily available as a distance learning tool or as part of a blended solution. Since you install it on your own servers, you have the ability to simply control and administer access. Telephone support is available for any technical queries you may have during installation, including priority access to any updates that become available and you receive a discount on any new training that is released.

Who is allowed to use the multiple licence training?

Multiple licence training packages are  licensed only to the licensee (the company or organisation) for the use of its students. Please note that re-sale, replication or public distribution is prohibited.

How long does a multiple licence last?

A multiple licence allows you to run the package for one year. You can renew your licence each year to continue using the training. Longer license periods can also be arranged.

How do my students access it?

Our multiple licence packages are created to run online from your web server and accessed by students using a web browser (Internet Explorer 6 or above). Packages could be added to part of an existing web site or made available from a new domain. This may be as via your Intranet, Extranet or the Internet.

How is it installed?

You must have a functioning web server available on which you will install the files. Installation should be carried out by your server/IT administrator who has the ability to copy/upload files to your web server. Step by step instructions are supplied with every package, but we have technical support available via email and telephone should you require assistance. Once you have installed the training, you simply contact us for a licence code to activate it.

What are the system requirements for the web server?

The training is designed to run from any web server using HTTP. No special software, configuration or scripting support is required, the server must support the file types listed below. Bandwidth requirements will be dependent upon the number of concurrent users. Possible File Types that should be supported by the server are: HTM/HTML, CSS, SWF, TXT, JS, JPG, GIF, PDF, XML, MP3 and FLV. Some packages that include may also require support for WRL, UNITY3D or OGG files. Feel free to contact us if you have any particular queries.

What are the minimum system requirements for the students computers?

*The required browser plugins are automatically detected and must be installed on each computer that is to run the training. As with any software, the training will perform better on a higher specification computer.

Will they work with my LMS?

Packages can be added from your LMS/VLE, such as Moodle. Our e-learning titles are SCORM 1.2 compliant which is supported by all major LMS/VLEs. Please contact us if you wish to discuss your particular requirements.
