This advanced e-learning programme is designed for learners and tutors studying for the 2330 Technical & Part P Defined Scope Certificate. It is based on fully interactive multimedia with audio, video, text using 2D and 3D animation and virtual reality. The programme consists of seven ‘tutorial-based’ e-learning modules with end assessments and five scenarios. Learners will be able to freely select the required module, learn about it using highly interactive sections and explore superb 2D/3D graphics and animations. At the end of each module, they will undertake very carefully designed self-assessments to test their knowledge. Constructive feedback will be shown at the end including scores and recommendations.

    BS 7671 IEE Wiring Diagrams, overview Part P, Joining and Progressing within the industry, Qualifications, Assessments, Information Sources and End Test.
  • Module 2: Health and Safety
    Health and Safety – Health & Safety at Work Act, PPE, Safety Signs, COSHH, Substances Hazardous to Health, Working at Heights, Basic First Aid, Risk Assessments, Fire Protection, CSCS Site Safety Cards, Electrical Safety, End Tests.
  • Module 3: Electro-Technology Principles
    Basic Electrical Principles, Ohm’s Law, Basic Circuit Theory, Resistors in Series, Resistors in Parallel, End Test.
  • Module 4: Electro-Technology Practical
    Safe Isolation, Test Instrumentation, Electrical Supply Systems Control and Protective Equipment, Earthing and Bonding, End Test.
  • Module 5: Electrical Installation Principles
    Electrical Regulations, Visual Electrical Safety Checks, Power Supply Systems, Lighting Circuits, Ring and Radial Circuits, Spur Outlets, Commissioning, End Test.
  • Module 6: Electrical Installation Practical
    Best Practice, Carrying Out an Installation, Lighting Circuits, Ancillary Circuits, End Test.
  • Module 7: Electrical Maintenance
    Approved Test Instrumentation, Different Setups, Non-Compliance, Fault Finding, Electrical Testing, End Test
  • Scenarios: Five interactive virtual reality based scenarios.
